Case Western Reserve University’s WRUW FM 91.1 Cleveland is one of more than 300 college radio stations nationwide taking part in the inaugural College Radio Day Oct. 11. The aim of College Radio Day is to raise awareness of the many college radio stations that operate around the country by encouraging people who would not normally listen to college radio to do so on this day. Then, organizers hope these people will like what they hear and become regular listeners.
WRUW FM will participate in College Radio Day by giving away freebies throughout the day in both Nord Hall and Thwing Center Atrium. Representatives will be playing music from the radio station in these areas and will have special concert tickets to give away.
