Writing Resource Center General Campus Zoom Workshop: “Engaging Academic Audiences”

What’s the difference between writing for an academic audience and writing for friends? What are academic readers looking for when reading your writing? Join the Writing Resource Center Friday, Feb. 26, from 12:45 to 2 p.m. for a Zoom workshop on “Engaging Academic Audiences.” Instructor Luke Reader and graduate student Madeleine Gervason will help attendees consider how to craft relevant and focused research questions with specific attention to audience, purpose and context.

Register for the workshop. Attendees are encouraged to bring a current draft of a paper they are working on or have worked on in the past.
