Researchers working on new recycling technology for hard plastics
WEWS: Technology developed by Ica Manas-Zloczower, Distinguished University Professor and the Thomas W. and Nancy P. Seitz Professor of Advanced Materials and Energy in the Department of Macromolecular Science and Engineering, and Liang Yue, a postdoctoral researcher, was highlighted for its groundbreaking ability to recycle so-called “thermoset” plastics by breaking them down into a reusable resin.
