The Women Postdoc Peer Support Group will host its kick-off event Tuesday, Feb. 6, from 5 to 7 p.m. in Tinkham Veale University Center, Suite 248. The Postdoc Association will hold this event in collaboration with the Office of Postdoctoral Affairs and the Flora Stone Mather Center for Women.
The Women Postdoc Peer Support Group is a community of postdocs that aims to empower women in academia and research by providing professional and social support. The ultimate goal is to close the gender gap in science and technology. During the kick-off event, attendees can learn more about the group, including activities and programs planned.
