Out of nearly 800 applicants, Heather Clayton Terry, associate director for Women in Science & Engineering, has been selected to receive an all-expense-paid trip to Chicago to attend the PhD Project Conference, Nov. 14–16.
The PhD Project is a clearinghouse for the knowledge potential students of business doctoral programs will need to succeed. The program, established in 1994, encourages interested African-Americans, Hispanic-Americans and Native Americans to learn more about doctoral degrees in business and provides rare networking opportunities with doctoral granting institutions and members of the business academic community.
More information about the program can be found at www.phdproject.org.
