Women employees: Learn to effectively negotiate at Nov. 14 brown bag lunch

Women faculty and staff members are invited to attend a brown bag lecture by Sara Laschever, co-author of Women Don’t Ask: The High Cost of Avoiding Negotiation and Positive Strategies for Change and Ask For It: How Women Can Use the Power of Negotiation to Get What They Really Want.

Laschever’s byline has appeared in many publications, including The New York Times, Harvard Business Review, the New York Review of Books and The Boston Globe.

During the lecture, she will present a guide to effective negotiating.

The lecture will take place Thursday, Nov. 14, from 9 to 10:30 a.m. (exclusively for staff and graduate students) and 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. (exclusively for faculty) in Thwing Center’s 1914 Lounge. 

Dessert and soft drinks will be provided.
