Women faculty members are invited to attend an upcoming talk titled, “Learn How NOT to Derail Your Career: Strategies to Counter and Avoid Patterns of Bias.”
Joan C. Williams, Distinguished Professor of Law at University of California, Hastings, will provide attendees with successful strategies to navigate the sometimes-rocky waters of an academic career.
The talk, sponsored by the Women Faculty Leadership Development Initiative of the Flora Stone Mather Center for Women, will be held April 27 from 9 to 10:30 a.m. in Thwing Center’s Spartan Room.
