All women faculty are encouraged to attend “Speaking Up, Speaking Out: Develop Personal Power Through Effective Communication,” an experiential workshop conducted by the communication trainers of VoicePro and presented by the Flora Stone Mather Center for Women.
In this session, attendees will learn how to convey confidence despite not feeing confidence, balance logic and emotion to influence others, and communicate needs, wants, expectations and feelings.
The workshop will be on Friday, Nov. 7, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Tinkham Veale University Center’s Ballroom A. RSVPs online are encouraged.
