WISER to hold annual benefit dinner April 4 to help underprivileged school in India

The Women in Science & Engineering Roundtable’s (WISER) annual SEVA benefit dinner will be held April 4 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in Nord Hall 310. The dinner is an annual fundraiser for WISER’s adopted and underprivileged public school in Bangalore, India, through a non-profit organization called Soujanya Sevashrama (SEVA) and its international outreach program, “Nurture a School Annually” (NASA).

WISER’s goal is to generate a fund for scholarships for two girls pursuing an engineering, science or medicine degree.

Student tickets are $5; faculty and staff tickets are $7.50. Tickets are available to the public for $10.
