Members of the Case Western Reserve University community are invited to the WISER (Women in Science and Engineering Roundtable) Lightbulb Drop today (Feb. 18) from 12:45 to 2 p.m. in Tinkham Veale University Center (Suite 248).
Participants can create teams of two to four people and use simple household materials (provided by WISER) to create devices to protect an incandescent light bulb when dropped from the top of Kelvin Smith Library.
The top three teams will receive gift card prizes ranging from $25 to $100. Free lunch will be provided from Jolly Scholar.
