The Women in Science and Engineering Roundtable (WISER) initiative at the Flora Stone Mather Center for Women is launching a Graduate Student Discussion Group series with a pilot event Friday, Dec. 6, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the center’s lounge (Tinkham Veale University Center, Suite 248). Dinner will be provided during the event.
WISER aims to create a space for women to network with other STEM graduate students, build a sense of community, gain professional skills, and discuss the unique challenges women face in their studies and professional careers—and how to overcome them. The pilot event is intended to help leaders understand how to tailor the Graduate Student Discussion Group to student needs.
All women in graduate STEM degree programs at Case Western Reserve University are invited to participate, and WISER especially encourages the participation of students in master’s degree programs.
Reserve a spot for the event on CampusGroups. Space is limited to the first 20 RSVPs on CampusGroups.
