The Women in Science and Engineering Roundtable (WISER), an initiative of the Flora Stone Mather Center for Women, has announced recipients of its Conference Travel Grant.
The grant is an award program for women STEM students (undergraduate, graduate, and professional) to attend conferences or professional enrichment opportunities in their field of study. The following students received funding to attend their associated conference and academic meetings:
- Meagan Kitt, a fourth-year graduate student studying neuroscience will be attending the Society of Neuroscience Annual Conference.
- Jasmine Robinson, a second year professional student studying medicine will be attending the Kaiser Permanente National Equity, Inclusion, and Diversity Conference.
- Kelsey Swingle, a fourth year undergraduate student studying biomedical engineering and Spanish will be attending the Biomedical Engineering Society Annual Meeting.
- Victoria Wang, a second year professional student studying medicine will be attending the Asian Pacific Medical Association National Conference.
