The Women and Science and Engineering Roundtable (WISER) will host its award banquet Thursday, April 14, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in Tinkham Veale University Center Senior Classroom.
Kathleen Buse, adjunct professor at Weatherhead School of Management, will give the keynote speech, titled “The Importance of a Personal Vision for Women in STEMM.”
Her presentation will address the complexities of life as a woman in a non-traditional career, the importance of dreaming and articulating a personal vision, and how that can lead to greater work engagement and career commitment.
Awards will be given out to celebrate the achievements of women involved in STEMM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics and medicine) at Case Western Reserve University.
Dinner will be served at the event.
All WISER members and students, and faculty, staff and community members who support and advocate for women in STEMM fields are invited to attend.
Registration is available online.
