The Women in Science and Engineering Roundtable (WISER) will have its first WISER Awards Banquet April 19, 6:30-8 p.m., in the Mandel Center for Nonprofit Organizations Room 115. WISER students will be recognized for their participation in the Peer Mentoring Program, Professional Mentoring Program and Girls’ STEM Outreach initiatives.
WISER also will premiere its new WISER video as well as present awards and outreach grants to WISER students. Lynn T. Singer, deputy provost and vice president of academic affairs, will serve as the keynote speaker and discuss her life as a professional scientist.
