Only 18% of the biographies on English Wikipedia are about women. Join the Flora Stone Mather Center for Women and Kelvin Smith Library’s Freedman Center for Digital Scholarship in celebrating Women’s History Month to change that during the Wikipedia Edit-a-Thon today (March 30). This event originally was scheduled as an in-person event at the library but is moving to a fully virtual event.

Individuals participating in the Wikipedia Edit-a-Thon are encouraged to share their edits through social media today using the hashtags #womenofwikipedia and #womenshistorymonth.
