Why is behavior so hard to change? Find out from nursing’s Shirley Moore

Shirley MooreThe Prevention Research Center Seminar Series will continue March 13 with a talk by nursing professor Shirley Moore, titled “Why is Behavior So Hard to Change? New Theories of Health Behavior Change.”

Moore’s research focuses on cardiovascular risk factor prevention and promoting healthy lifestyles following cardiac events. In a series of studies, she developed and tested interventions to improve physical and psychological health following cardiac events.

The talk will be held March 13 at noon in the BioEnterprise Building’s ground floor conference room. A light lunch will be provided.
