Mars has recently been the target of an armada of robot explorers, including “Curiosity,” “Spirit” and “Pathfinder.” This recent influx of exploration begs questions like: “Why Mars?” and “What are these missions?”
At the next Science Café Cleveland, held Monday, Feb. 11, Geoffrey A. Landis of NASA’s John Glenn Research Center will answer these questions and more in his presentation, “Mars: Curiosity, Opportunity, and Spirit of Exploration.”
The presentation will take place at The Market Garden Brewery with drinks at 6:30 p.m. and the discussion beginning around 7 p.m.
The event is sponsored by the Case Western Reserve University chapter of Sigma Xi, WCPN ideastream and the Market Garden Brewery.
