“What is Digital Scholarship?”

The campus community is invited to the first session in Kelvin Smith Library and University Center for Innovation in Teaching and Education’s (UCITE) workshop series. The first session is titled “What is Digital Scholarship?” and will be held today (Sept. 16) from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Freedman Center for Digital Scholarship on the first floor of the library.

The collaborative initiative between UCITE and the Freedman Center for Digital Scholarship offers participants the opportunity to learn about digital scholarship and incorporate that knowledge into their teaching. The series is composed of five interactive workshops, which are designed to empower participants to incorporate CWRU’s digital tools and resources into their classroom experience.

The first session will be an orientation to the Freedman Center for Digital Scholarship as well as a discussion of data, digital scholarship and the data science process.

A pizza lunch will be provided at the session.
