“Welcome Coffees”

To enhance the onboarding process for new faculty and staff members, the university’s Compliance Program will host monthly “Welcome Coffees.” The first of these events will be held Friday, Oct. 21, from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. in Adelbert Hall’s Toepfer Room. Attendees will learn more about the university while enjoying coffee and pastries.

All staff and faculty members who joined the university as employees in September will be invited to the October event. (Each monthly Welcome Coffee is for the faculty and staff members who started their employment the prior month.)

Leaders from key university offices and divisions—such as the Office of Research Administration and the Division of Public Safety—will explain how they can help new faculty and staff members navigate CWRU and be successful. Attendees also will have the opportunity to meet other new faculty and staff members, and see Adelbert Hall and the Toepfer Room—significant campus sites—potentially for the first time.
