Weekly International Student Success Series events aim to help ease transition to life in the U.S. and at CWRU

The Office of International Student Services will host the International Student Success series Wednesdays throughout the academic year from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. in Sears Hall, Room 464.

The first event in the series will be held Sept. 2 with a focus on health. International students will learn more about health insurance options, including the Student Health Plan.

The series will include programs, workshops, meetings, and events for Case Western Reserve University international students.

The series is designed to help international students transition and better understand the social and academic culture at CWRU. Each part of the series is designed to enhance important life skills and incorporates knowledgeable trainers from across campus.

The center has partnered with various offices including Educational Services for Students, the Career Center, and University Counseling Services to offer support on topics such as finding internships, dealing with homesickness, traveling in the United States, learning American cultural systems and exploring university traditions.
