As announced last month, required weekly COVID-19 surveillance testing ended Friday (May 28). The testing site in Horsburgh Gym is now closed; those who have COVID-19 symptoms should contact University Health Services for guidance.
The university does plan to conduct large-scale surveillance testing prior to the start of the fall semester, and will adapt ongoing testing strategies based on current data and projections at that time.
In addition, Take Two CWRU resumes this Friday (June 4) after a one-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This university program that provides most employees the opportunity to leave two hours early on Fridays in June and July without a commensurate reduction in pay or vacation time. In those instances where an office or other workplace must remain staffed throughout normal business hours, supervisors and staff are asked to identify alternative arrangements to ensure comparable hours of paid time off.
