Web content management initiative on the move, faculty/staff survey now open

Last March, Information Technology Services and University Marketing and Communications joined forces to launch a universitywide web content management initiative.

The project will assess web publishing needs, resources and skills from department to department; create workflows and a governance structure; evaluate and consider content management tools; and develop strategy for an effective university web presence.

About 90 representatives from around the university participated in discussions this summer about the state of web at Case Western Reserve. Now the committee would like to reach out to more members of the community with a brief survey for faculty and staff.

Please take a moment to complete the Faculty and Staff User Survey. It takes 5-10 minutes. The survey will not only help us understand resources and needs for your department’s website, but also gauge your experience as a user and collect your opinion about the current state of university sites.
