Hackathon launched to help fight coronavirus pandemic
Computer Weekly: A virtual hackathon–known as Hack from Home–is co-sponsored by xLab, co-founded by Youngjin Yoo of the Weatherhead School of Management, and backed by other major partners. Hack from Home will aim to develop technology that can help fight the spread of the Covid-19 coronavirus as well as mitigate its economic and social impacts. Held remotely on April 4 and April 5, the event will bring together technologists, creatives, activists and experts from a range of fields to collectively develop 25 applications to help deal with challenges presented by the coronavirus pandemic.
