Fiscal Cliff: Alternative Minimum Tax to hit families

WKYC: Unless Congress and the White House act to combat the looming “fiscal cliff,” the alternative minimum tax could cost millions of families thousands more per year. “Those with much lower incomes would not be hit by AMT,” said Steven C. Hartstein, adjunct professor at Weatherhead School of Management, “nor would people in the highest tax brackets. It’s people in the middle who will pay.”
