Weatherhead’s Scott Shane discussed Goodyear’s investment in autonomous vehicles

Goodyear Ventures seeks more than financial return

Scott Shane

Crain’s Cleveland Business (subscription required): Scott Shane, professor of economics at the Weatherhead School of Management, said that unlike most venture capitalists, Goodyear is not strictly concerned about getting a direct return on its investment via a sale of its portfolio companies, or by them going public.
