Millions of people skip Black Friday lines and shop online
Spectrum News: Michael Goldberg, professor at Weatherhead School of Management, explained that while Black Friday shopping has shifted online, in-store shopping remains vital for communities. “Buying everything on Amazon means the death of lots of local retailers,” he said, adding that Black Friday retail sales continue to grow, with 9% growth reported last year.
