WKYC: Michael Goldberg, associate professor of design and innovation at Weatherhead School of Management and executive director of the Veale Institute for Entrepreneurship, explained why retailers like Target, Walmart and Kohl’s launched deals around Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days—more than two months ahead of Christmas. “Amazon is the gorilla in this market and their Prime Day this summer in July has caused folks to be fast followers,” he said.
