Zombie foreclosures are on the rise
WEWS: Michael Goldberg, associate professor of design and innovation at Weatherhead School of Management and executive director of the Veale Institute for Entrepreneurship, discussed so-called “zombie” foreclosures—the phenomenon of homeowners who abandon the house upon receiving a default notice from the bank. “Energy costs are up, food costs are up, and it’s become more and more difficult for folks to make those decisions about which bills to pay,” he said.
