Forbes: Women are taking career advancement strategies such as mentoring and networking just as much as, if not more so than, their male counterparts, but they don’t advance as often as males and see considerably slower pay growth, a study shows. Diana Bilimoria, professor of organizational behavior, said these strategies are important but not enough. Instead, women need to “choose strategies in the context of your long-term vision, your own plan for advancement,” she said.
