Strategic Innovation Lab, Professor Sue Helper play key roles in Department of Commerce roundtable

Susan HelperCase Western Reserve University’s Strategic Innovation Lab recently co-sponsored a Department of Commerce roundtable aimed at helping businesses incorporate natural capital in their planning and operations. Sue Helper, the Frank Tracy Carlton Professor of Economics and chief economist for the Department of Commerce, participated in the “Natural Capital Business Roundtable” and gave a keynote address on June 12.

The Strategic Innovation Lab and the Cleveland Foundation co-sponsored the roundtable, which included a team from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and the Economics and Statistics Administration.
