Weatherhead School’s Michael Goldberg says a return to in-person learning will boost the economy

Economists believe a safe return to in-person learning will provide economic boost

WEWS: Michael Goldberg, associate professor at Weatherhead School of Management and executive director of the Veale Institute for Entrepreneurship, said a byproduct of more in-person learning is that it may provide a much-needed jolt into the parts of the economy that have been ravaged by the pandemic. He said he has seen anecdotal evidence of that around the CWRU campus and University Circle.
