For happy employees in 2014, fulfillment matters more than pay and benefits
The Plain Dealer: Bonnie Richley, assistant professor of organizational behavior at the Weatherhead School of Management and new assistant Vice President in the Department of Human Resources, talked about what makes employees happy and motivates them to do a good job. “Initially it may be an incentive. But that won’t last,” Richley said. “It’s things like, ‘Is there an alignment of values? Are we doing work that’s important?'”
