Proposal for $15 minimum wage in Cleveland
WKYC: Bill Mahnic, associate professor of banking and finance, explained why raising Cleveland’s minimum wage could be detrimental to the city’s economy. “It’s a job killer,” he said. “The Congressional Budget Office, which is not political, took a look at President Obama’s proposal to increase the wage to $10.10 and it would eliminate half a million jobs.”
