Doctoral student presents on cross-sector collaboration in community-focused work

Jennifer Madden, doctoral student at the Weatherhead School of Management and adjunct faculty member at the Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences, presented at the “Fostering Social Innovation in Communities: Leaders’ Perspectives on Nonprofit Management Research” workshop on Thursday, Oct. 31. Her talk was titled “The Collaboration Sweet Spot: A Conceptual Framework for Successful Cross-Sector Collaboration Performance and Social Innovation in Community-Focused Work.”

Sponsored by the Doctor of Management Program at the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University, the event is designed to bring together researchers and leaders to find solutions to best to address difficult issues in nonprofit management.

Madden recently was named a Fowler Sustainability Fellow.
