Weatherhead School of Management Dean Manoj Malhotra recently was honored for a paper he co-authored.
The paper, titled “Effect of Capacity and Flexibility Constraints on Bullwhip Effect in Supply Chains,” won the Chan Hahn Best Paper Award from the Operations and Supply Chain Management Division of the Academy of Management.
Selected from a field of 180 entries, Malhotra co-authored paper was up against teams from such institutions as Arizona State University, Georgia Tech and MIT.
Malhotra was honored at the Academy of Management Annual Meeting in Boston earlier this month.
