Weatherhead School adjunct professor named VP of National Association for Business Economics

Jack Kleinhenz was elected vice president of the National Association for Business Economics (NABE). Kleinhenz, who is an adjunct professor of economics at Weatherhead School of Management, is principal and chief economist of Kleinhenz & Associates, an economic, financial consulting and wealth management firm. He is also chief economist with the National Retail Federation and offers his forecasting expertise to the Federal Reserve Banks of Chicago and Philadelphia.

NABE is a professional association for business economists and for those who use economics in the workplace. Many well-known figures in economics have joined the association; Alan Greenspan, for example, was a past president. Kleinhenz has been deeply involved in many aspects of NABE; he chairs the organization’s education committee, serves on its statistics committee and participates in its economic outlook panel. He has also served on NABE’s board of directors and chaired its education foundation.
