Join the Weatherhead School of Management for the Weatherhead Entrepreneurship Series: Financing Startups event Monday, Feb. 6, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Tinkham Veale University Center.
The event will feature an expert discussion about:
- The emerging trends in early-stage investing;
- What is most important to experienced investors when considering a new start-up opportunity;
- How entrepreneurs have successfully raised money from investors; and
- The dos and don’ts for meeting and pitching angel investors and venture capitalists.
The panel presentation and discussion will be held from 6 to 7 p.m., with a reception and networking from 7 to 8 p.m.
Suzanne Rivera, vice president for research and technology management, will moderate the discussion.
The panel will be composed of:
- Stephanie Harrington, CEO of Matrix Medical Devices LLC;
- Marcella Kanfer Rolnick, vice chair of GOJO Industries; and
- Charu Ramanathan, co-founder and chief scientific officer of CardioInsight.
