The Mothers Offering Mothers Support group will hold a screening of the film The Motherhood Manifesto on Monday, March 2, from noon to 1:30 p.m. in the Flora Stone Mather Center for Women, located in Tinkham Veale University Center’s Suite 248.
The Motherhood Manifesto combines moving personal stories, humorous animation, expert commentary and old film clips to tell the story of what happens to working mothers and families in America. It also discusses how enlightened employers and public policy can make paid family leave, flexible working hours, part-time parity, universal health care, quality child care and after-school programs, and realistic living wages a reality for families.
Lunch will be provided. RSVP online.
