More tickets available to watch CWRU football take on Carnegie Mellon Nov. 14; prepare with “Crush the Mellon” event

CWRU vs. Carnegie Mellon game posterUniversity Program Board, the Office of First-Year Experience and BlueCWRU will give students the opportunity to head to Pittsburgh for the football game against the Carnegie Mellon University Tartans Saturday, Nov. 14.

Tickets will include transportation, entrance to the game, food and more.

Students can get tickets for $5. Another bus has been added to allow for more students to attend the game. Those who would like to attend can purchase them at tickets.case.edu by 10 a.m. today (Nov. 11).

Students also are invited to participate in “Crush the Mellon” Friday, Nov. 13, from noon to 2 p.m. at Freiberger Field.

At the event, students will have the opportunity to throw darts at balloons that will be in the shape of a watermelon against a plywood board. A limited number of students will also have the opportunity to smash a melon with a hammer, sign or color a part of a spirit banner that will be taken to the CMU Game and will receive candy and/or Crush soda.
