Glenn Nicholls, vice president for student affairs, was one of four U.S. individuals honored last month with a Lifetime Contribution to International Education award by ELS Educational Services.
He was honored with the award for overseeing programs in areas including athletics, educational support and residential life.
Nicholls will retire from his position at the end of June after serving the university for 26 years.
ELS has been the leading English language pathway provider in the U.S., Canada, Australia and Europe for more than 50 years, assisting more than 1.1 million students to date. It has recognized educators with the award for more than 20 years.
