Vice President for Research and Technology Management Suzanne Rivera will serve on the Association of American Universities (AAU) Strategy for Sexual Harassment and Gender Discrimination Advisory Board.
The board seeks to identify challenges and share effective practices and policies concerning sexual harassment, gender discrimination and campus climate. It will develop a plan for gathering effective sexual harassment principles, policies and practices and to help disseminate and scale effective approaches being taken by AAU campuses.
As sexual harassment and gender discrimination is a systemic problem, the AAU’s committed and concerted efforts are designed to create culture change at member universities and in academia as a whole.
