Case Western Reserve’s Office of Police and Security Services is seeking volunteers for a campuswide safety application that users download to their iPhones or Android devices. Known as CWRU Shield, the app allows users to transmit their locations instantly to emergency dispatch officials; provide audio and video information regarding potential incidents; and establish scheduled alerts to notify officials should they not reach an intended destination within a set time period.

Any member of the campus community with an iPhone or Android device can participate in the test.

For more information, please attend a 60-minute informational session Friday, Feb. 21, at 1 p.m. in Room 103 of the Bingham Building.

If you cannot attend but would like to participate, contact Sgt. Daniel Schemmel at djs49@case.edu or 216.368.5993.
