Volunteers Needed for Nonpartisan Voter Registration

Volunteer for a shift or two at the OCA Booth for One World Day Sunday, Aug. 29 between 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. (OWD hours 11-6 p.m.). We’ll need at least 4 people to help set up the 10×10 tent and table at 10 a.m. and tear down at 6 p.m. We also need at least 10 people to help register new citizens at the Naturalization Ceremony at 11 a.m. And volunteers to assist with nonpartisan voter registration at our booth, distribution of The Yellow Whistle, and other resources.

Free Parking: There are two main Parking lots that will be used. We recommend Parking at the Louis Stokes VA Employee Parking Garage (on Magnolia Dr. by E. 105th), Take the Free shuttle to One World Day, Ride on one of the Passenger Golf Carts to the Centenniel Peace Plaza.
