Case Western Reserve University will conduct a full-scale exercise on campus Saturday, June 15. This exercise is designed to test and evaluate the emergency plans and response of first responders from multiple jurisdictions, in the event of an incident on campus.
A significant number of volunteers will be needed for this exercise. Volunteer actors play an important role in exercise facilitation and help to provide as close to real-world situations as possible.
All volunteers will be asked to report to Strosacker Auditorium at 7 a.m. on June 15. Parking (in lot 53) is free to volunteers, and lunch will be provided.
Upon registering, participants will receive assignments, safety instructions, and additional information. Select volunteers may be moulaged (made-up) and provided additional instructions for exercise play.
To volunteer, register online at www4.gotomeeting.com/register/861756519. Volunteers will be be signed up for two events: the June 15 exercise and an actor briefing June 11 from 2-3 p.m. on GoTo Webinar.
A firm commitment is requested. Registration will be cut off at 200 volunteers, at which time a waiting list will be started. If, after registering, you cannot attend, contact Kamil Lenk at 216.368.0996 to withdraw.
