University Hospitals’ Volunteer Services Department is seeking an intern for the Pet Pals Program. Interns should be able to start in the Spring 2023 semester. This is an unpaid internship but you will gain volunteer/service hours. Intern will work closely with the Canine-Assisted Intervention Specialist, trained volunteers, and their certified therapy animals. Candidates should have completed at least one year of undergraduate study, be able to devote 15-20 hours per week, and be passionate about helping others through animal assisted intervention.
