Volunteer at the Leonard Gelfand STEM Center’s Elementary Science Olympiad March 2

Members of the Case Western Reserve University community are invited to volunteer for the Leonard Gelfand STEM Center’s Elementary Science Olympiad, which will be held Saturday, March 2, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on campus.

Geared toward students in fourth to sixth grades, the olympiad is composed of competitive events in science, technology, engineering and math.

Individuals are needed to fill two key roles: captains and volunteers.

Captains develop and manage competitive events, while volunteers help facilitate them. Volunteers are also needed for the Olympiad Headquarters and award ceremony following the competition.

A minimum of four hours of service is requested for volunteers. It is estimated captains will commit about 5-15 hours in advance of the competition.

Those interested in volunteering can call 216.368.5075 or email kmk21@case.edu.
