The Greater Cleveland Sports Commission seeks energetic, dedicated individuals to volunteer for the 2013 National Senior Games, presented by Humana and Year of Vitality community programming series. Case Western Reserve University will be a host site for many of the events, taking place July 19-Aug. 1, so volunteers can stay on campus to volunteer or be part of the action across Cleveland.
The 2013 National Senior Games will host 13,000 athletes, all 50 years of age and older, who will compete in 19 different sports, including archery, basketball, golf, cycling and swimming.
Volunteers will be assigned varied duties including athlete registration, airport greeter, hospitality, awards distribution and VIP events. They will receive event apparel, volunteer hospitality and a discount on a four-day RTA pass for $10 instead of $20.
To volunteer, register online. Any group interested in volunteering should contact Lauren Grys by phone at 216.479.6361 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
