The fifth annual STEM Fair at The Intergenerational School (TIS) needs volunteer judges from the professional community to judge grades 3-8 STEM projects. Some familiarity with research design and STEM Fairs is preferred but not required.
The event will be held in person Saturday, April 9, at The Intergenerational School located on 11327 Shaker Blvd., from 8 a.m. to noon, with three-hour long sessions. Judges will work in pairs (teams of two) to assess a minimum of four to five projects per session with a 10-minute break between sessions. Each project will only be scored once. Judges can volunteer for one hour or all three.
Sign up to volunteer and support this community outreach activity to make sure that STEM exposure can occur where it’s really needed.
