SEXPOpalooza is a health fair intended to remove the taboo associated with openly discussing sex and sexuality. This event challenges established social norms by giving students a safe place to learn, discuss, and participate in activities and discussions.
Hosted in collaboration by the Flora Stone Mather Center for Women, Interfraternity Congress/Panhellenic Council, Undergraduate Student Government, Students Meeting About Risk and Responsibility Training, as well as other student activists, SEXPOpalooza features a space where students can interact with different booths about all aspects of sex and sexuality. The event aims to open minds and push boundaries, giving everyone the chance to ask questions, generate an ongoing dialogue regarding sex and sexuality, and encourage a sex-positive culture throughout Case Western Reserve and the greater community.
SEXPOpalooza will be held on Thursday, Sept. 16, from noon to 5 p.m. in the Tinkham Veale University Center ballroom. Volunteers are needed between 11 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.; individuals do not need to be able to work the entire event in order to volunteer.
Sign up to volunteer. Volunteers will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. If you are unable to volunteer, you’re invited to the event as a participant. Register to attend the event.
