Volunteer at commencement

The Commencement Office is looking for dependable Case Western Reserve University employees to help make commencement 2023 special and memorable for our graduates. If you are interested in working and receive approval from your direct supervisor, consider sharing your day with graduates and their families.

Volunteers should be prepared to arrive no later than 6:30 a.m. Saturday, May 20, and Sunday, May 21.

Details on check-in and assigned positions will be provided at a mandatory meeting at 4 p.m. Thursday, May 18, at the Veale Convocation, Recreation and Athletic Center. 

Volunteers will receive a commencement polo shirt and lunch May 20 and 21.

Volunteers also will receive time off within the work week (the period beginning at 12:01 a.m. Sunday and ending at midnight the following Saturday). Supervisors must approve time off in advance.
